Day 1 - Finally the day has arrived - off to Scandinavia on our next golfing adventure. Up at 5am and off to the airport. First leg is with Korean Air to Incheon (Seoul). We were given seats 1A & 1B on their 787-9 aircraft. The first row of 2-2-2 was in a little cabin on our own, very nice 😀. The service was excellent, the seat was soooo comfortable - but it was a day flight so I really wanted to stay awake in order to sleep on the next leg, so I didn't lie completely flat. Watched a couple of movies and ate some wonderful food. I had the Tuna Bibinbap and then the Beef Bulgogi for the 2nd meal - really tasty.

We landed safely in Incheon and walked miles to transfer to Terminal 1 for our ongoing flight - was good to have a brisk walk and stretch after the 10 hour flight. Went to the lounge, had a shower and caught up on some emails and reading, then off to board our next flight with Finnair on their A350 aircraft.

Seats 6G & 6H - we picked the middle of the cabin area to avoid noise from the galley's etc.. The new design is really good, you are almost completely tucked away in your own little pod. The seats are a little controversial because there is no recline, just sit or lie, but it was all very easy and comfortable. We were served dinner, then off to sleep for a few hours. 

Very smooth flight of nearly 14 hours. I watched a couple of movies and read my book to fill in the last couple of hours. Landing into Helsinki there was a very thick fog blanketing the airport, however they must be used to it because there were no delays. By the time we were re-screened at security and passport control there was only 30 mins or so in the lounge before the next flight.
