Day 7 - Lofoten Links Golf Course

Nice lazy start today, up to the restaurant (about 200m away on other side of the road) for breakfast

This restaurant caters for the Lodges and also a camping ground across the road

 Drove the 1km up the road to the golf course and prepared for our 10am tee time. Yet again another clear day with bright blue skies. Temp was about 16 today, a little cooler but still in shirt sleeves for the first 9 or so, then just a light vest.

Today was Seans day, he hit the ball a lot better and ended up with 31 points. It was my turn to loose heaps of balls in the thick rough. It is deceptive because it is not tall, but once a ball goes in that is it....gone!! I ended up with 22 points 😢😢

We were round in 3.5 hours so had the afternoon free. We decided to go for a drive to Henningsvaer, this is the town with the football pitch that you often see in pictures of Norway. It is astro turf.  Such a cute place, the town was very scenic.

Returned to the Lodge and prepared for the evening. Up to the restaurant for Reindeer Steaks - absolutely delicious. The food here has been exceptional. They even gave us.a breakfast box each for tomorrow as we have an early tee time before they open. The service has been impeccable.

The skies are clear so we might get another light show tonight? The thing about Northern Lights is all you can see with the naked eye is "clouds", they look like white clouds in the dark sky, it is not until you point a camera at them can you see the greens and reds etc.. They just got brighter and brighter before disappearing all together - fascinating and also a very special surprise.
